How we map the stars

To create your custom star map we map the stars and constellations using the Yale Bright Star and Hipparcos star catalogues as used by professional astronomers and organisations such as NASA. The result is a beautiful map that combines science and art, showcasing your special moment forever.

Your artwork is available in four sizes to match your space, and can be delivered unframed, as a download or framed ready to hang:

Whilst posters are typically printed on lightweight paper with a glossy finish, your custom dog art is printed on premium Enhanced Matt Art 200gsm fine art paper, the same used for fine art prints. We only use high-quality 12-colour archival inks using the Giclée printing process for vivid, fade resistant masterpieces that can last 100’s of years in good conditions.
